Dr. Kerry Schexnaider

Kerry Schexnaider, MD is originally from Abbeville, LA, but has called Maurice his home for over eighteen years. He has been practicing as an Internist for seventeen years. He and his wife, Becky, opened his private practice in Maurice about fourteen years ago, and it has always been his goal to provide high-quality care locally, to the residents of his hometown and surrounding areas. In his free time, you will likely find "Doc" fishing or hunting. The first thing he may ask you is, "What ya been doin?"
Danielle Prater, FNP
Nurse Practitioner
Danielle Prater, FNP is from the rural outskirts of the Opelousas area. She now considers herself from "south of I-10," as Maurice has been her home for about seven years. She has been a Family Nurse Practitioner for over three years, and worked as a registered nurse in Emergency Care for about twelve years prior. Danielle is very excited to bring Adolescent and Women's services to the practice, in order to provide the same high-quality care for entire families. She dedicates the majority of her free time to her four children, two dogs, and two cats. The first thing she may ask you is, "So you ever heard of Lawtell?"
